The 121st Pope
Lando

Pope Lando (913-914) – Although we are a number of centuries after the Edict of Milan, there are still a number of popes of whom we have very little information. Pope Lando ranks among them. His reign of only six months is a circumstance that creates the possibility of a frustratingly sparse amount of information regarding a pope's reign. One may assume that his candidacy had the approval of the influential Theophylact family. Incredibly, the only bit of information about his papacy that is recorded notes a donation in remembrance of his father to the cathedral church of his home territory of Sabina. Pope Lando is interred in the Basilica of Saint Peter.
