Thought for the Month -
He Knows

Vera Beall Parker

No matter where you go, my dear,
Nor what you say or do,
You have a loving Saviour
Who is watching over you.
He knows each sorrow on the way,
He even understands
How rough may seem the path it takes
To follow His commands.

He knows that you may often fall
And bruised and shaken be,
He knows how very weak you are,
But loves you still, you see.
And so He calls, "Come unto Me,
I am The Way, The Light.
However dark the path may seem,
I'll bring you through all right.

"I send My angels to protect,
My Spirit to control,
For you are very dear to Me -
You are a precious soul,
That I have given all to save,
I want you for My friend.
Let me walk along beside you
'Til you reach the journey's end."
